Dr Johari Hakimu is a lecturer in the department of Languages and Communication Studies at Mzumbe University. She holds a PhD in Kiswahili attained from the University of Dodoma, Master degree in Linguistics and a Bachelor of Arts with Education degree (B.A Education), both attained from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She has the ability to work on various areas of Kiswahili Linguistics, Kiswahili language editing, translating various texts (Kiswahili and English), reviewing educational books as well as journal papers. Issaya Lupogo is a holder of PhD in Kiswahili, Master of Arts in Linguistics (English), and Bachelor of Arts with Education (Kiswahili and English); all degrees attained from University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Currently, Lupogo is a Lecturer in the Department of Languages and Communication Studies at Mzumbe University, Tanzania. He is also an Acting Coordinator of Outreach Services, Marketing and Collaborations in the Directorate of External Linkages and Community Engagement at Mzumbe University. Lupogo is a consultant and he has undertaken number of projects/assignments in translation (Kiswahili & English), language (Kiswahili & English) editing, qualitative research, and teaching methodologies. Moreover, Lupogo is the Chief Editor of one of the AJOL based journals called Chama cha Lugha na Fasishi ya Kiswahili Tanzania (CHALUFAKITA) journal (https://www.ajol.info/index.php/jclfkt/about/editorialTeam).

Additionally, Lupogo Issaya has taken an interest of grooming himself in relationships and marriage knowledge in which he has published a very useful book called Nadharia ya Utofauti katika Ndoa na Mahusiano ya Kimapenzi. James Kapaya is a lecturer in English language and Linguistics, Freelance editor, Translator, and Interpreter and he possesses MA in Linguistics, Bed (English language and Geography) and currently pursuing a PhD in Linguistics at the University of Dar es salaam. Kapaya works as a Linguist in the Department of Languages and Communication Studies at Mzumbe University in Morogoro, Tanzania. He has over fourteen years of experience in Teaching English language in Secondary schools in Tanzania and over six years in Universities.

Dr. Adria Fuluge is a lecturer at Mzumbe University in the Department of Languages and Communication Studies. The Department is in the Faculty of Social Sciences. He is a Doctor of Language and Literature specializing in Kiswahili literature. He completed his PhD (Kiswahili Literature and MA Kiswahili Literature) at the University of Dodoma and BAED (Kiswahili & Linguistics) at the University of Dar es Salaam. He is proficient in teaching both African oral and written Kiswahili literature and Kiswahili language (Translation Theories & Semantics and Pragmatics).

Martina Duwe is a lecturer in the Department of Languages and Communication studies at Mzumbe University. The department is in the Fuculty of Social Sciences. She was awarded MA in Kiswahili Literature at the University of Dodoma and BA.Ed (Kiswahili and History) at St. John’s University of Tanzania. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in Kiswahili Literature at the University of Dodoma. Omary M. Yahaya is a holder of Master of Arts with Education, and Bachelor of Arts with Education (English and Literature); all degrees attained from University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Currently, Omary M. Yahaya is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Languages and Communication Studies in the Faculty of Social Sciences at Mzumbe University, Tanzania. He is also a Programme Coordinator of Bachelor of Arts with Education (English & Kiswahili) and Bachelor of Education in Languages and Management degrees at Mzumbe University.

Tungu Masanja Mayombo has taught and continues to teach Literature in English, Linguistics and Communication Skills since 2012—initially in the position of Tutorial Assistant and currently an Assistant Lecturer. He possesses an M.A (Literature) pursued at the University of Dar es Salaam and a B.A (Ed), attained at Stella Maris Mtwara University College—SAUT Constituent College. He is also a researcher (interested in African ‘Orality’), a poet, novelist, translator and an editor.

Clara Itael Kisombo is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Languages and Communication Studies in the Faculty of Social Sciences, Mzumbe University. She completed Masters of Arts in Kiswahili at the University of Dar es Salaam and held a Bachelor of Education in Languages and Management from Mzumbe University. Edson Zacharia Thomas is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Languages and Communication Studies at Mzumbe University. He holds a Master of Arts in Kiswahili and Bachelor of Arts in Kiswahili, both attained from University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Miss Reginamary Barnabas Mluge is an Assistant lecturer at Mzumbe University in the department of languages and communication studies. The department is in the faculty of social sciences. She is proficient in teaching English Literature, Linguistics, Communication Skills, Basic English and other related courses. She holds M.A in Literature attained from the University of Dar Es Salaaam and Bachelor of Arts with Education (Linguistics and Literature) attained from the Saint Augustine University of Tanzania Main Campus, Mwanza. Emmanuel William Singu is a Tutorial Assistant in the Department of Languages and Communication Studies at Mzumbe University, Tanzania. The Department is in the Faculty of Social Sciences. Ms. Alphonsina Ambrosi Silayo is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Languages and Communication Studies. She holds a Masters of Arts in Kiswahili from University of Dar es Salaam and holder of Bachelor of Education in Languages and Management from Mzumbe University.
She is a member of Constitution and Electrol Comission of Global Association for the Promotion of Swahili (CHAUKIDU) and an Assistant Associate Secretary of Tanzania Association of Swahili Language and Literature (CHALUFAKITA)
Alphonsina is profient in teaching Kiswahili as a second language and she is an expert on Swahili Children literature.

Ms. Alpha Jamhuri Kavishe is a linguists who specializes in theoretical and applied linguistics. She holds a Bachelor Degree with Education from Jordan University College and a Masters at St. Augustine University of Tanzania; (top first class honor) currently, she is an Assistant Lecturer at Mzumbe University in the Department of Languages and Communication Studies; on top of that, she is an editor of different school books and dissertations. Also, she is a fluent interpreter/translator in Kiswahili and English languages.
