  • To direct and manage in an efficient and effective way for growth – professional and academic development of the Department.
  • To coordinate departmental staff requirements and budgeting for the department.
  • To execute all academic and administrative policies in the department.
  • To supervise, coordinate and oversee the activities and functions of the department.
  • To evaluate staff under the department through Open Performance Appraisal System.

2. Coordinator, Open Performance Review System (OPRAS) - Faculty of Social Sciences (2008 – 2017).

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To prepare and disseminate semi-annual and annual open performance review schedules for faculty staff evaluation.
  • Compile faculty performance evaluation reports.
3. Programme coordinator of undergraduate degree programmes (i.e. BSc. Economics – Project Planning and Management (year 1, 2 & 3) – (May 2019 to date)

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To prepare, compile, and disseminate semi-annual and annual examinations results
  • To ensure the programmes are properly run e.g. the syllabus and other academic issues are in line with the market requirements.
  • Receive feedback from class representatives concerning the teaching function and report the same to the head of department.
