Mzumbe University, |
I am an economist with expertise in and passion for conducting researches in different areas of socio-economic development. I am particularly, interested in studying the gendered social relations and their impact on livelihood outcomes in terms of the access to resources, wellbeing and status of natural resources. I combine my knowledge in economics and development studies to conduct researches beyond household analysis and consider intra-households diversities in the production and consumption system. In addition, I apply intersectionality theory to ascertain how different social categories intersect to affect people’s lives in different ways, compared to the impact of a single social category. I use mixed method of researches to approach my researches through applying both qualitative and quantitative methods.
