Jimmy Kihwele is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Educational Foundations and Teaching Management. He joined Mzumbe University in December 2014. Before joining Mzumbe University he worked as a secondary school teacher at Kibaoni Secondary School in Kilombero Disctrict Council. He received his Bachelor of Education in Arts (Kiswahili) at the University of Dar es Salaam in 2009 and Masters of Arts in Education at the University of Dodoma in 2012. He has taught Comparative Education, Principles of Curriculum Development and Teaching, and History of Education at Mzumbe University. Kihwele is currently pursuing his PhD in Teacher Education at Beijing Normal University.
